A running list of people you’ll find mentioned in my journal entries and my articles. I’ll be adding to this list over time.

• Ally O’Sullivan - me! Also referred to by my proper name, Allison Margaret O’Sullivan.

   

• Nicolas Hardaway - Nick, my fiance, and powerful psychic.

   

• Emery Waterman - One of the survivors. A post-cognitive psychic. (Sees the past.)

   

• Steven Rimbauer - Steve, one of the survivors. The great-grandchild of Ellen & John Rimbauer, inherited Rose Red.

   

• Annie Wheaton - Survivor, incredibly sweet and talented child. Autistic, but she manages to communicate in her own unique way. A powerful telekinetic and mindreader.

   

• Sis (Rachel) Wheaton - Survivor. Annie’s older sister, her guardian angel.

   

• Cathy Kramer - Survivor. Automatic writer, and devout Christian. The last person to see Nick alive.

   

• Joyce Reardon - Presumed dead. Head of the Rose Red expedition, scholar on Rose Red’s history and parapsychology.

   

• Ellen Rimbauer - Mistress of Rose Red in its hey day. Wife of the house’s owner and the driving force behind Rose Red’s psychic energy, at least on the surface.

   

• John Rimbauer - The fairly abusive and repugnant husband of Ellen Rimbauer. According to a discovery made by Cathy, he was murdered by Ellen and her maid.

   

• Sukeena - African maid and companion of Ellen Rimbauer. It appears that she was some sort of shaman, using her magic to entice the spirits of Rose Red.

   

• April Rimbauer - The daughter of Ellen and John, born with a withered arm and disappeared within Rose Red as a child.

   

• Carl Miller - Professor and chair of the Psychology department at Joyce’s university; disappeared within Rose Red the weekend of Joyce’s expedition.

   

• Victor Kandinsky - One of Joyce’s party, a pre-cognitive psychic who died of a heart attack during the Rose Red trip.

   

• Pam Asbury - A psychometric psychic, aka “touch-know”. She was also part of Joyce’s party and also went missing in Rose Red.

   

• Deanna Petrie - Golden Age of Hollywood “B” movie/musical actress/celebrity known best as a vixen and heartbreaker. One of Ellen’s favorite guests at Rose Red, she also disappeared in the house.

   

• Kevin Bollinger - The ill-fated photographer sent by Professor Miller to do an expose on the Rose Red party. He was dead before they reached the house; he was planted on the property ahead of time to capture photos throughout and was compelled to hang himself in the Mirror Library.
